Among the resorts of Wengen, and Shtehelberg Grindenvald, Bern Alps of Switzerland offer another excellent ski center and a pleasant tourist destination in the face of Murren. Murren remains forever in history as the place where in 1922 held its first official competitions in Alpine skiing. As a traditional and peaceful mountain town of Murren offers excellent conditions for tourism and sports both in summer and winter. Located at the foot of the majestic peaks of the Jungfrau, Munch and Eiger, which are a challenge for any avid mountaineer. Murren is situated at 1650 meters altitude and is inaccessible by road and Wengen and other resorts in the area where driving a car is strictly prohibited. Typically, visitors leave their cars in the special parking Lauterbrunnen. The train departs from the resort of Lauterbrunnen (796 m) from an intermediate station on the east diversion before Wengen.
