Asean countries typical breakfast – Part 1

It is time for me to start speaking about ASEAN Country and their beauty as a world travel destination. Today, I am going to bring to you typical breakfast from five countries of ASEAN community: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR and Malaysia.

1. In Brunei Darussalam, their typical breakfast is: Roti Telur or Roti with egg, simple and delicious.

2. Cambodia, the kingdom of wonder has many mouth watering breakfast. The one that I love the most is the traditional Kuyteav with beef ball. This noodle soup is base on hours long beef brew and freshly made noodle called kuyteav. It is typically found in many restaurant around town.

Indonesia, its fame Nasi Goreng extends to neighboring country such as Singapore and Malaysia. This is a fried rice dish with sweet soy sauce, shallot, garlic, tamarind and chilli. You can have a choice of different meat such as chicken , prawn or egg.

4. Lao PDR, main dish are normally made of sticky rice. Its typical modern breakfast in Lao is Warm Lao Bread. Unlike its name suggest, this is a patty sticky rice dipped into scrambled egg before fry them. Definitely one of the all time favorite of Lao breakfast.

5. Malaysia Nasi Lemak is my favorite typical malay breakfast. I love the crispy chicken wing, peanut and especially the sweet chilli dipping sauce.
