Barbados between the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean

BarbadosBarbados is the easternmost Caribbean island. This is well known that Cheap Barbados Holidays are among the highest quality and very beautiful for people from all over the world. It is known as a luxury holiday home of the richest and most famous people. Barbados is an independent state and is located 434 km northeast of Venezuela. In the widest part of the island is 23 km long and 34 km. Barbados is non-vulcano origin and consists mainly of fossilized coral. Change on the island have a strong influence air flows from the Atlantic Ocean. Barbados has a very high standard of living and is considered one of the most developed among developing countries. Barbados is the name given to the island by Portuguese explorer Pedro Campos in 1536 who called it “Os Barbados” (Bearded) because it contends coastal vegetation beard.
From 1536 to 1550 Spanish conquistadors nearly deserted island. When in 1620 British sailors entered the island, found it deserted. Thus, this island was colonized by Britain and its independence in Barbados in 1966 remain unchanged under the jurisdiction of the British Crown. On the island of Barbados than the large number of African slaves were slaves and whites – Celts of Ireland and Scotland. Barbados flourished mainly in the production and export of sugar cane, so the whole island was divided into vast sugar plantations, where many slaves were needed.
The slave trade also flourished. But in 1816 the island broke one of the largest slave rebellions in the history of the Caribbean. Thousands of people died during the fighting, 144 slaves were executed and 123 – deported. Eighteen years later, slavery was abolished. Barbados Holidays are known among tourists especially with its beaches – there are beaches for every taste and every pocket. East coast is quiet and west offers a wide variety of hotels, restaurants and nightclubs. Atlantic breeze creates a pleasant temperature. The rainy season is from June to December. Although year-round surfing conditions are good from December to March the waves are highest and it is the preferred season for surfers. Barbados has a field for all types of water sports.
Barbados is known for its exotic vegetation and beautiful botanical gardens. There are enough clubs where you can dance until dawn, listening to different styles of music, eat and drink plenty. There are many duty free shops where you can buy all sorts of souvenirs and handmade items by local craftsmen to your stay as pleasant memories of the Holidays.
