This is one reason to write this article at this moment – I wish more people learn about this amazing place and cast their ballots in the race. Another reason to write is that Belogradchik Rocks are a great natural phenomenon, and certainly can fight for a dignified place among the 7 wonders of the world they are. I believe in this and in the beauty and charm of this place, and that most Bulgarians need to know about it and be proud of Bulgarian nature.
A few words about the town of Belogradchik
The town is small, about 6-7 thousand inhabitants, situated in northwestern Bulgaria, about 182 km. from the capital and only 50 km. from the district town of Vidin. Despite the size of only 411 sq. km. has long been established as a popular tourist destination in our small country.
