If tourists have problems whilst abroad that they find they cannot rectify themselves, one of their options may be to call the British Embassy in the country that they are staying in. There are various reasons to contact the Embassy, for example if you are in hospital and not receiving the amount of care that is appropriate, or if it is found that no other public bodies are able to deal with the case.
There are various things that the embassy will do to help British citizens in trouble abroad. After they have been contacted, they will make direct contact with the person who is in trouble with twenty four hours. They will assist with, liaise with, and sometimes be about to sort out any insurance claims that have arisen, so that this extra stress is taken off the citizen. They will also contact friends and family in the United Kingdom, inform them of the incident that has occurred and keep them up to date with what is going on. They will also endeavour to visit the person who needs their help within forty eight hours, however, this may only be possible if the Embassy is in the city in which the citizen is residing. It is also unlikely that a British Embassy representative will be able to visit individual people in the case of a natural disaster or humanitarian crisis, as there will obviously be far too many people in danger to see each individually.
It must be remembered that the British Embassy is a government organisation, and must only be contacted in an absolute emergency. It is likely that the police or other public services in the country may be better suited to deal with the problem that is being faced, and in the case of incidents they should always be contacted first. The Embassy should not be contacted with regards to holiday complaints, as these would be better directed to a tour operator.

The sea capital of Bulgaria is Varna, which is one of the best and most beautiful cities of the country. The city is situated on the Balkan Peninsular on the coast of Black Sea. The sea and maritime transport are forming the city as one of the centers of trading in the vicinity. Varna is close to the Golden Sands and Albena resorts, which are some of the best known and most beautiful sea resorts of the country. The population of the city is about 350,000, but the conglomerate includes more than 500,000 citizens. The city was chosen for the best city for living in Bulgaria for the years 2007 and 2008. The town of Lavenham is cozy and very beautiful medieval town, which is situated in the Suffolk country in the UK. The town is really cozy and carry the beauty of the United Kingdom and Great Britain. The beautiful and cozy mountain town is situated in Belitsa majestic forests of National Park “Rila” in Bulgaria. Wuerzburg in Germany

Wuerzburg is a remarkable and beautiful German city. Situated in the north of the southern German province of Bavaria, Wuerzburg is a major center of the picturesque district of Lower Franconia. Beautifully situated along the river Main (Main River), Wuerzburg extends over an area of 87.63 square kilometers. The population of this interesting German city is little more than 130 000 people. It is located 115 km southeast of Frankfurt (Frankfurt) and 115 km northwest of Nuremberg. The history of Wuerzburg began in the early 8th century, the first historical evidence of the then village dating from 704 in 742 years, the St. Boniface St. Burhard appointed the first bishop of Wuerzburg. The first church was built in 788, and was consecrated by King Charlemagne. Episcopal bishops gradually create a secular state, to which in the 12th century are connected large parts of Franconia. Between 1040 and was built in 1225 still exist today in the Romanesque cathedral. Wuerzburg was captured in 1631 by Swedish King Gustav Adolf. From 1803 the town was annexed to Bavaria, and in 1805 became the capital of the Duchy Wuerzburg created. In 1821 the bishopric was restored. On March 16, 1945, during World War II, Wuerzburg was almost completely destroyed by British aircraft. Over the next 20 years, many historic buildings have been restored to its original form before the war.
The tour around the sights in Wuerzburg is quite long and definitely has a lot to see. It is better to start from the city center, where are City Hall, the beautiful old cathedral, which impresses with its two towers, created in the Gothic style. Next to it is located and the New Cathedral, called “New Munster”. Its architecture is much more lush and baroque stressed. Also in the baroque style and the Episcopal Residence in Wuerzburg. Episcopal Residence in Wuerzburg is the palace of the bishops who ruled episcopal secular state for more than 8 centuries. It was designed by leading architects Baroque – Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt and Maximilian von Welsh and Robert de Kotte and Bofrand Germain, who were known architects of the French style. But the chief architect Balthasar Neumann was, the architect of the prince bishop of Wuerzburg Johann Philipp Franz von Schonborn and his brother Carl Friedrich von Schonborn. The construction began in 1720 and was completed in 1744. Venetian painter Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, assisted by his son Domenico, painted murals in the building. The most impressive elements of the interior include large pillars, chapels and the great hall. The building even has a “nickname” “beautiful home of the parish priests in Europe” issued by Napoleon. The residence was heavily damaged during World War II, but in the process of restoration that continues since 1945. Restoration has absorbed over 20 million. The palace belongs to the architectural masterpieces of the South German and European Late Baroque and thus joins the famous palaces – Vienna Schonbrunn Paris and Versailles. The residence is listed in the List of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Around the residence has a wonderful park, where locals and tourists use for recreation and entertainment. Besides the two cathedrals in Wuerzburg has several churches, one of which is Marienkirche Red Cathedral (Our Lady). The tower of the cathedral is 84 meters high Festung Marienberg. Located on the west bank of the River Main and has existed since ancient times. After the Swede Gustav Adolf conquered the region in 1631, the castle was rebuilt in baroque style. Today is a park and museum. As early as 704 on the hill was built the church and in the 13th century were built around the first fortifications. In 1482 the castle was surrounded by a wall. Somewhere around 1600 Julius Ehter repaired the castle and turned it into a Renaissance palace. After a march of Gustav Adolf in 1631 there was another reconstruction, and it appeared and lovely garden. The fortress Marienberg is the symbol of Wuerzburg and was the home of princes and bishops, more than 500 years. Only after the Bishop’s residence was built, princes moved its headquarters there in 1744 on a steep hill around the castle’s magnificent vineyards.

Erfurt in Germany

Erfurt is a large city in Germany, which is important for the economy and tourism with the beautiful nature and well developed industry. After German unification in 1990 Erfurt is situated 45,5 km southeast of the geographical center of Germany. It is situated in the southern Basin of the river Gera. Also the trading and transportation sectors are well developed, as the central railway station of Erfurt is the important part for the Germany railway. The service sector and the administration largely determine the economy of the city. Important institutions in the city are the University of Erfurt, Catholic Diocese of Erfurt and the Federal Labour Court. The most interesting sightseeings in the German city are the Erfurt’s Cathedral and the Bridge of the traders. Of course when you travel in Erfurt you should see the old city, which is built in medieval style with about 25 churches and a lot of town houses. One of the most attractions for the tourists from all over the world are the exhibitions of flowers and cacti. They are annual and a lot of people come here to see the beautiful exhibit. The city also has a particularly beautiful park – a work of art of gardening, Egapark Erfurt. Definitely traveling in this part of the country will be very interesting and attractive.

Dublin in Ireland

The Irish capital Dublin is vibrant and cosmopolitan city, where ancient traditions meet modern energy. It is a very old city with archaeological remains dating back several thousand years. Dublin is famous for its architectural Gregorian year and the many beautiful squares. Dublin is the charming capital of Ireland and one of the most popular cities in Europe. The city is a place where you are happy to explore it on foot, as many tourist attractions are easy and short distances from one another. The Irish capital is a thriving cultural center and home to great writers. Dublin is also the ideal place for business and for tourists with plenty of free time. No trip to Dublin, which is complete without a visit to a traditional pub. As you arrive at Dublin airport, get a passenger bus, which can go directly to the street, “O’Connell”, the heart of the city to leave their suitcases. Go south to the River Liffey. Go across the bridge to the south side of O’Connell and the oldest university in Ireland, Trinity College, founded in 1592 the College is one of the leading historical sites in Ireland, attracting over 500,000 visitors a year. The most interesting thing you can see there is the book “The Book of the Celts” which was written by Celtic monks around 800 AD This richly illustrated manuscript contains the four Gospels of the Bible into Latin. Also take a walk through the gardens of the campus – an oasis in the heart of the city.
A few minutes south of the street “Grafton”, one of the two main shopping streets in Dublin, with its decorated shops where street performers play for buyers. Turn left on the street “Duke” and turned in Davy Byrne’s pub for lunch with a sandwich and beer Guinness. Davy Byrne’s is one of the most famous pubs. Continue until the end of the street “Grafton”, to see the Ark of the Musketeers, which marks the northeast entrance to the huge park St. Stephens Green. Arch in honor of the Royal Musketeers from Dublin, who died for Britain in the war. Walk to the south gate of the park that leads to the top of the street “Kildare”, home of the National Museum, the National Parliament (Oireachtas) and the National Library. If you turn right to the end of Kildare Street takes you to the square Merrion, another green park that is surrounded by some of the best in the Gregorian buildings in Dublin, including children’s home of Oscar Wiley. Short passing up the western side of the square will lead to the government building. On the opposite side of the government hotel Merrion, a great place to stop for tea in sumptuous surroundings decorated with private collection of Irish art. Like many things here in Dublin is not cheap, but is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the interior of adjacent buildings which adorn the hotel, one of which was the birthplace of the Duke of Wellington.
Back to Square Merrion Street “Nassau”, which will take you to College “Green”. Opposite the main entrance of Trinity College are the magnificent portico of the eighteenth century terrace house in Ireland, which once housed the Irish Houses of Parliament. The labyrinth of old, narrow, cobbled streets behind the bank is known as Temple Bar, which has been transformed into an entertainment center. Once you have walked all day, Temple Bar is a popular place with tourists, who choose from many restaurants and bars to eat and drink. The western part of Temple Bar is also the home of Viking Dublin. Vikings live on the banks of the river Liffey in 841, and so created the city of Dublin. The next day after strong Irish breakfast head to the street Abbey, to take the electric tram to prison, which is the setting for many films, including “Italian job” with Michael Caine and “In the name of the father.” Here you can immerse yourself in the history of Ireland from 1790 to 1924. Take the tram back to town to Collins Barracks, the former military base, now a museum of decorative arts and history, showing items from fine lace to heavy weapons. Admission is free. Before you get to the new bridge in Dublin, overpasses Sean O’Casey, you will notice a bronze monument. From the bridge you get a good view of the customs building. Take a taxi to Sandytown and stop for lunch at Caviston’s restaurant for a wide selection of local seafood and complete with pie mango and tropical fruit. Make sure you have pre-booked.
At only 100 meters from Caviston’s lies the rocky shore of Dublin Bay, where you can watch the coast and port Sandycove. Walk along the James Joyce Tower, where he wrote the first chapter of “Ulysses”. Continue along until you reach the port Bulloch, a fishing village – Museum of the Middle Ages, which is still small, working harbor. During the warmer months it is a popular place for anglers and visitors hiring fishing boats. Opposite the castle port Bulloch, which was built by the Cistercian monastic order, to protect their fishing rights. Along the side of the fortress has stairs that lead to quaint town of Dalkey, which is home to Irish celebrities including Enya, The Edge of U2, Chris de Burgh and former F1 racer Eddie Irvine. Continue up the hill to the park for a panoramic view over the bay of Dublin and Killiney, which extends to the mountains Wicklow. No wonder that the stars choose this place home. For dinner, try the restaurant Guinea Pig, which is actually a fish restaurant and Thai restaurant is proud of a strong Asian influence. The head over to the bar Finnegan’s Sorrento, where he can not share the table with author Maeve Binchy or film directors like Neil Jordan or Jim Sheridan (all locals).
