The city is really attractive for the visitors and travelers from all over the world, offering rich history and a lot of entertainments. Bogota is located in the foot of two mountains, Guadalupe and Montserrat. The city is 2640 m above sea level, so the climate is mountainous, cold, with temperatures are between 7 and 18 degrees. The city has over 9 million citizens and the whole conglomerate is increasing with every year. Bogota is one of the oldest cities of South America, founded at the site of an Indian village Chibcha tribe. Definitely the city will give you a lot of historical objects and great places for traveling and sightseeing. The first impression of Bogota is a big, dirty and noisy city with tall buildings. However, when traveling on the right places you will see really great destinations. In the center of Candelaria neighborhood is the square “Bolivar” with an impressive statue of Simon Bolivar. This the the calm and the most luxury place in the whole city. In the western part of the square is the city hall in the French style and is located in the eastern Episcopal Cathedral from 1823 is nearby and the university “San Bartolome”. Here is also the world-renowned Institute of Latin literature. other beautiful and interesting destinations are the Museum of Gold, the National museum and the Historical museum. Definitely Bogota is great place for traveling, in spite of the noise and the dirty air.

The city is situated on the Bay on the northern coast of Rio de la Plata. The city is one of the youngest capitals of Latin America. Established in 1726 by Bruno Mauricio Saba December under the name of San Felipe and Santiago de Montevideo. It is interesting to know that in Montevideo is concentrated 45% of the population of Uruguay – a percentage that has not reached any other city in the world. The city speaks national trade turnover 90% of the country. Unlike most Latin American capitals, there are European, although markedly modern look, while the colonial atmosphere is rather implied. Cradle of prominent representatives of culture as Rhodope, Sorilya de San Martin and Florencio Sanchez, is considered one of the most intellectual city in America and one of the most important theatrical centers of the continent. The city of Montevideo is famous for its beaches, which reaches to within a few minutes from the city to Rambla promenade, with its beautiful parks. The remains of German Armadillo “Graf Spree” and it charges the ship are still 3 km from the coast.
Definitely some of the most impressive sightseeings of the capital of Montevideo Uruguay is Plaza de la Konstitusion, which is the oldest in the city. Interesting for the visitors is also the Cathedral, which one of the most remarkable temples in South America. You can continue your tour in the museum of Kabildo, where you can see furniture and historical paintings, which have high cultural significance for the country. Of course the architectural sightseeings of the city are impressive, just like Palacio Lehislativo. This is a building in classical style. Sometimes you may need a man long to adjust to this altitude, especially if it comes from the lower parts of the country. Most of the sights are located in the historic central district of La Candelaria. Plaza de Bolivar is the principal town square, which houses the institutions and the federal and local government. The buildings around it are in colonial style with wide balconies issued. The square you can see, and to visit the first cathedral built in 1500 Most impressive is the Museum of Bogota Museo del Oro. The downtown as a whole is filled with shops, business offices, cafes and banks. This is also a place that one could tour with pleasure. Most of the best hotels, restaurants, cafes and boutiques are located at the north end of town. One possible travel outside of Bogota may be a visit of mine Zipaquira, where there is a whole cathedral built inside samile salt mines. Another option is Monserrate, where there is a modest and unremarkable church, but from where a magnificent view of the city. The security in Bogota is no longer a problem thanks to urban planning strategy “people first”, initiated by the then mayor Enrique Penyalosa. These changes include smaller roads, highways, parking lots and more lanes for pedestrians and cyclists, public transport and parks. This should be a logical strategy for every major city – to use resources as a priority for most people, not cars for the minority. We apply a similar plan in New York in the South Bronx and the results really matter.
If you want to immerse yourself in the charm and cultural diversity of South America, Bogota has to be in top 5 of your desired destinations. In this city without any effort you can feel free to have fun, shop, discover, learn and relax.

For economy, it moves every few years because of a boom is born a new center in Sao Paulo, and any other economic stagnation ravaged urban areas. In the old center can be seen how suddenly a forgotten neighborhood wakes again to life. A hundred years ago, during the rise of coffee, then left the city in all directions. Here are the exchange and trade departments, opera and many services. But until recently dominated the picture in thousands of street vendors who sell goods imported smuggled from Paraguay. Evening homeless pushing cardboard bedding in pedestrian zones. “Krakulanda” local call an entire neighborhood whose streets between brothels and illegal shops are sold “foot” (a drug containing cocaine – workout.). The area boasts a naturally bad name properly. But this is now history. Vendors moved east, but because of constant police raids dealers scattered throughout the city. The tall buildings in Art Deco, former homes of the aristocracy and old-fashioned offices are sold and repaired. Meanwhile, return the first companies and institutes.
The Brazil economic stabilization, which remained constant for nearly a decade despite a fall and rise, act well in the metropolis. Today is constructed at a pace not seen since quite some time – hotels, offices, residential complexes of public housing apartments to the super. Any office space in good areas already leased before construction is completed. The construction projects far beyond the city limits, and without which it is not relevant nor politicians, nor the cadastral office. People long ago did not take them into account. Indeed, Sao Paulo is one of 39 municipalities throughout the metropolis. It is packed 19 million – more than in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany’s most populous province with about 18 million people – workout.). The megacity is spread over an area of 8,000 square kilometers, three times larger than the German Saarland. The industry for years is drawn to the periphery – mainly biotechnology industries, software, finance, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications. Multinational corporations have begun to concentrate in Sao Paulo their research departments for emerging markets recently it seemed IBM (IBM), and before that – “Motherland” (Rhodia) or “Bristol Myers” (Bristol-Myers). The boom in commodities also left their tracks – Sao Paulo is the capital of the eponymous state, which is the most important agricultural center in the country. Traders coffee, sugar, orange juice or beef, and a concert by the food industry based in the past two years new regional headquarters in Sao Paulo mainly because of its proximity to their financiers – the big international banks.
Hardly noticed that Sao Paulo is actually one of the largest German industrial cities outside Germany. Around 800 companies with German capital have settled in the metropolis. The location is of strategic importance for the German economy out of the business alliance “Ibero-America.” Latin America is the only world region outside Europe, in which German entrepreneurs have key positions in the industry. The traces of German settlers who have a mark on the old city today can hardly be detected because the continent has for decades as an oven, which melted nationalities. Italians and Spaniards in search of happiness, later coming Eastern European Jews, Lebanese, Syrians and Japanese now come mainly Koreans and Chinese. Today Sao Paulo resembles multicultural New York City only giant, which pleased local match. Both have the same catchy dynamics, both share the indifference towards the weak and the same faith in progress. In both places people work more than the rest of the country, and money are both monstrously important. What is New York for North America, Sao Paulo is South of the continent. Nowhere in Brazil is not so nice to eat to see the best theater to buy the works of the most popular artists. Nowhere has so many concert halls. And one more thing in Sao Paulo emulate New York – a two-year crime decline, but levels of that Big Apple is never reached.
