It is located just north of the city of Constanta, Romania. Almost no year-round residents, being populated mostly during the summer. Is 8 km long and only 300 meters wide, a strip of land between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol. Due to major developments in recent years it has become an important summer destination in Europe. Beach season is best between mid May and late September, when average daily temperatures are 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. The disadvantage is that sea water is usually below 17 degrees even in July and August and is unsuitable for bathing. The hotels are category 3 to 5 stars, but no new construction. Most buildings were built during socialism. There are private clubs. Rooms are available for both the mass of tourists from the EU, and the Romanians. All along the resort go lift, whose cabins are painted green. Finding a hotel in Mamaia resort empty no problem.
Everywhere has availability. Locals are polite, they meet so that finally embarrassed to go.
