Certainly the USA has a lot to see, such as the largest cities of the Eastern and West Coast. But what remains between them – desert, small towns and a very colorful community. So today we will visit Kansas City. Town located on the continental part of the USA, offering some interesting things and calm that you can not find out of many American cities. Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri, USA. Has a population of 444,965 inhabitants and a total area of 823.7 km ². Together with placements on the other side of the Missouri River namesake city in Kansas Kansas City conurbation forms.
One of the nicknames of the city is “city of fountains” as is second in number of cities fountains in the world with over 200 fountain, then Rome. The interesting thing about the city that is located in three counties and two states. Accordingly, there are two mayor under the jurisdiction of two governors is elected senators and accordingly different voices of the people “weigh” different in electing a president because the electoral system. Among the most attractive destinations in the city amusement park, zoo, park and downtown (downtown).
The city has a population of 564,477 inhabitants and agglomeration around it is about 2.7 million people. The city was destroyed to the ground by strong earthquakes, twice in its history – in 1356 and 1755 These are turning points that led to the expansion and transformation of Lisboa. The city of Lisboa reached its zenith in the 16th century during the Portuguese empire. He became a European center of trade with Asia, while it poured gold produced in Brazil. This upturn is not interrupted by severe earthquake of January 26, 1531, in which killed thousands of the city. The last upgrade of the city, made possible after his election as European Cultural Capital in 1994. Among the most interesting sights are undoubtedly:
The Park of the Nations – was built in 1998. Located a few kilometers from the city center. In the beautiful, modern and spacious park is located Portuguese, Atlantic pavilion and pavilion of knowledge. The park can be seen from bird’s-eye view of liftche leading to Vasco da Gama tower. Extensive water gardens are ideal for walking and recreation.
The Oceanium – the crown jewel of Park the Nations. In the downtown aquarium building is called the “Global Ocean”, which impresses with its enormous size. Deep is 7 meters. Each of the four windows of the aquarium has an area of 42 square meters. Over 100 different species inhabit its waters, sharks, tunas, coral, sun fish (sunfish) and others. The Oceanium an educational but also research and protected species role. Modern laboratories provide for the inhabitants of the aquarium. Here one can spend hours admiring the wonders of nature.
The town of Sintra – Located a few miles outside Lisboa. It can be reached in about an hour and a half by train. Sintra is a beautiful small town surrounded by forests and castles. In the center of town is the Royal Palace of Sintra. On the hill above the palace is “Yes Pena” – built by Ferdinand of Saxe Coburg Gotta in romantic style. Remarkable for its style of decoration. Too colorful is my humble opinion. The most impressive sight for me here is “The Castle of the Moors. Military fort, which suggests that dates from the 9th century (during the occupation of the Arabs). Served as an excellent observation post to the coast. The fortress is preserved (including premises, not just walls) and restored and is now under UNESCO protection.

Also the really interesting place, which you may see is the Puente General Manuel Belgrano, which is one of the largest bridges in Argentina. The road bridge connects the Corrientes city and the Resistencia city, which is the capital of Chaco province. Together with these you can see the beautiful river, nice parks and of course for all the soccer fans is the stadium of Estadio José Antonio Romero Feris, on which started the careers of many famous players of the world. Really nice destination like Corrientes, should be seen in the winter.
