CancunCancun is a coastal town in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo Yucatan Peninsula. Cancun has a population of 526,701 inhabitants (2005) and is situated at an altitude of 00-10 meters. Founded on April 20, 1970 represents the island, open on one side forming a lagoon. It is the largest and most beautiful international tourist resort in the country. Cancun is an island that is open on one side and formed a magnificent lagoon, on the other continents meet. The sand never money, though the sun shines all day. Cancun is a pristine place, with wonderful Caribbean beaches with white sands, crystal waters and wild green exotic nature. The ruins of ancient civilization located in its perimeter, and the largest coral reef in the Western Hemisphere. Cancun has 150 hotels with more than 24,000 rooms and 380 restaurants. Each year it is visited by 4 million tourists per day as arrival and departure 190 fields.
